The Battle of Leipzig (also known as The Battle of Nations) was one of the largest battles in the Napoleonic Wars and a decisive victory for the Coalition forces. The battle involved intense fighting and resulted in significant casualties on both sides. Ultimately, the Coalition forces surrounded and defeated Napoleons army, leading to his retreat from Germany and marking a critical turning point in the campaign against his rule in Europe. The battle solidified the Coalitions resolve and paved the way for further military successes against France.
